Model estimating the attributable number of deaths due to all sources (PM2.5 and NO2) and specifically due to traffic-related air pollution (TRAP) in Australia, based on 2015 data.
The model shows that emissions from vehicles—primarily fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and nitrogen dioxide (NO₂)—contribute to over 1,800 premature deaths annually.
